Sanguine delivers a classic survival horror experience set in the shadowy rural town of Craven Oaks during the 1990s. After a terrifying outbreak, you must navigate the town’s abandoned streets and decaying buildings, surviving long enough to unravel the mystery, recover your lost identity, and escape the nightmare.
As Kris ventures deeper into the town, fragments of her memory begin to surface — revealing unsettling pieces of her past and the sinister secrets behind Craven Oaks' downfall. Along the way, she’ll encounter other survivors, each carrying their own burdens, secrets, and motives. Some may become unexpected allies. Others may lead her further into danger. Every encounter tests Kris's judgment and forces her to confront the true cost of survival.
The town itself feels alive — a haunting presence filled with eerie landmarks, hidden rooms, and long-forgotten secrets waiting to be unearthed. Once a thriving industrial town, Craven Oaks now rots beneath the weight of its dark past, its silence broken only by distant echoes and the creeping terror that stalks its streets.
Central to this terror are the Bloods, hive-minded parasites with a singular, terrifying goal: to find hosts to transform and take over. Once a Blood infects a host, the transformation is irreversible. The host becomes a part of the Blood hive, losing all sense of individuality and humanity. These transformed hosts are no longer capable of reason and become relentless, dangerous creatures driven by the hive's collective will.
